He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Lucas (Peddicord) and Dexter Lucas; his siblings, John, Lonnie Lucas and Betty Ann Lucas; and his granddaughter Shela Goff.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Lucas; his children, Ronnie Lucas (Sherri), Dale Lucas, Christi Paynter (Chad) and Vicki Russell (Andrew); his grandchildren, Valarie (Tony), Austin, Aiden, Addy, Tiffany (Brent), Anthony (Heidi), Kelsi (Noah), Hannah (Brandon), Kaytlyn (Cole), Cameron (Riley), Colton, Carson, Jennifer, Micheal, Ashton and Kenzie; his sisters-in-law, Marlene and Nancy Lucas; and his close friends, Lexie and Lady. He is also survived by 9 Great-grandchildren, 1 Great-great grandchild.
