She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Vallance and Melba Vallance (Landis); her husband Richard "Pete" Sworden; her son Douglas Sworden; and her sister Claudette Teeple.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Sleek of Fremont, Greg Sworden (Dana) of Oro Valley, AZ and Wendy Woods (Brian) of Fremont; her grandchildren, AJ Sleek (Melinda), Mandy Shull (Brady), Amber Gips (Brett), Shaylyn Sweety (Zach), Shelby Ross (Michael), Melissa Faile (Clint) and Wendy Nielsen (Bryce); and her sister Mary Smith of Gibsonburg. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory (900 North St, Fremont, OH 43420). A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Patricia may be made to Humane Society of Sandusky County.
