Thomas A. Bravard, a resident of Bethel, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, at the age of 83. He was the husband of nearly 60 years to Burnais Bravard (nee Crawford). Father of Brian (Regina) Bravard and Nicole (Von) Rogers. Grandfather of Amber Bravard and Benjamin Bravard. Brother of Elizabeth (Carl) Berry, Dorothy Napier, the late Charles Bravard, the late Donald Bravard, and the late Frances Elliott. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Tom was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1995 after 35 years there. In retirement, he was an avid woodworker and enjoyed showcasing his wares at craft shows throughout the region. He was also passionate about his work with the Marine Corps League, where he was commandant for many years, and he belonged to the Clermont County Marine Veteran’s Color Guard.

Visitation for Tom will be held at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home (Bethel), on Friday, July 30, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 31, 2021, also at the funeral home. Interment, with military honors, will follow at Tate Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program or to Hospice of Cincinnati East Inpatient Unit.

“I am just crushed to find out that Mr. Bravard has passed. I had struck up a friendship with him when I met him several years ago at one of the Lakota craft shows. Being a woodworker myself, I had a great appreciation for his abilities in the shop, but also, of course, for his service to our country. I always looked forward to the Autumn season and the opportunity to see him and Mrs. Bravard. I am so glad that I have a few of his things to remember him by. My condolences to all who loved him.”
