She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Herschel and Ada Elliott (Marksberry); and her husband William L. Sims. She is survived by: her close friend Chris Oldynski; her children, Kathy Jarman of Felicity, Shelley Hull of Felicity, Anna Marx of Mt. Orab, William Sims of Hamersville and Brenda Siemer of Hamersville, Ohio; her grandchildren, Nathan Jarman, Katie Spiller, Chelsey McElfresh and Bobby Ryan Hull; and her great grandchildren, Lanie, Lowell, Lara Spiller, Lakyn Hull, Eli and Lindley Jarman.
