He was predeceased by: his wife Nelda M. Richey; his daughter Jana Lynn Richey; and his brothers, Charles Owen and David Sterling Richey. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Sue Walz and Thomas "Tom" Richey (Carol Taylor). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
