He is survived by: his children, James Houchin (Mary), Jeffrey Houchin (Liz), Rachelle Duermit (Chris) and Zachary Houchin (Krysten); his grandchildren, Lindsey, James, Robby, Alex, Madison, Westley, Melanie, Walker, Raylan, Elliot and Madeline; his nieces and nephews, Harold, Jon, Cely, David, Ella, Patrick and Aaron; his mother Jane Houchin; and his brothers, Harold (Terri), Jeff (Karin) and John (Lisa).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home (315 W Plane St, Bethel, OH 45106). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
