He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Clarence and Cora Elizabeth Grimes (McGhehey); his siblings, Tony Joe Cole and Connie Murrell; and his nephew Matthew Edwin Bingamon.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Christian Grimes and Angela R. Wright; and his sister Pam Bingamon (Frank) of Hamersville. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
