He was predeceased by: his wife Ella Carty (Eiford); his parents, Willard Carty and Nanie Carty (Large); and his brothers, Oscar, Herley, Hubert and Buford Carty.
He is survived by: his son Clark Carty (Darleen) of Brunswick; and his grandchildren, Ethan and Victoria Carty. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
