It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith M. Truitt (Berlin Center, Ohio), born in Powhatan Point, Ohio, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Dierkes and Lula Dierkes (Lude); her husband Richard; her son Dennis; and her siblings, Martha Spencer Ryser, Wanda Ruggles, Esther Graham, Joan Miller Coppinger, Robert, David, James and Paul Dierkes.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Truitt (Sue), Carol Selley, Larry Truitt (Linda), Jon Truitt (Evy), Richard E. Truitt (Denise), Charles Truitt (Pat), Debra Shrader (Richard), Thomas Truitt and Robert Truitt; her daughter-in-law Beverly Truitt; her sisters-in-law, Nancy Hlywa Sale and Joyce Dierkes; her friend Martha Kale; and also, Joann Corll and Edith.
Family and friends may call from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM Monday at the church where masks and social distancing will be observed.
