He is survived by: his children, Scott Mix of Youngstown, Pamela Balent (Steve) of Newton Falls, Brent Gatrell of Ravenna, Donna Shook (Mike) of North Jackson, Denver Gatrell of Berlin Center and Becky Hambrick (Brian) of Youngstown; his grandchildren, Jacquelyn (John), Joseph (Mandi), Mark (Marauka), Jessica (Ron), Jeff, Nicholas (Katie), Ryan (Jamie), Jarrod (Brianna), Brian (Allison), Morgan, Tabitha and Adam; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Colin, Layla, Hunter, Alivia, Parker, Emerson, Greyson, Penelope, Kamryn and Trent.
