He was predeceased by: his parent Clifford McGarvey; and his sister Marlene Kratofil. He is survived by: his parent Madeline McGarvey; his wife Sherry Miller; his children, Christine McGarvey, David McGarvey, Keith McGarvey and Amy McGarvey; his grandson Michael McGarvey; his stepchildren, Paul Bowman (Donna) of Canfield and Pam Murray (Lex) of Salem; and his siblings, Clifford McGarvey (Laura) and Madeline Scarfo (James).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests material tributes take the form of contributions to Mount Moriah Lutheran Church, 4626 South Pricetown Rd., Berlin Center, OH 44401.
