He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hale; his sons, Gary Hale (Shelia) and Duane Hale (Robin); his grandchildren, Christopher Hale (Erica), Gina Smith (Christopher), Joshua Hale, Jacob Hale, Brice Hale and Brayden Hale; his great grandchildren, Sofi, Bree and Canaan; and his sister Ilene Wolfe.
