Philip E Merk Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philip E Merk of Berea, Ohio, born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 5, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Merk and Eleanor Merk; and his brother George Merk. He is survived by: his brother Richard Merk; his nephews, MacLane Merk and Dr. Bradley Merk; and his niece Dr. Allison Reese.
The Merk family wishes to thank the staff at Our Lady of the Wayside, Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Southwest General Hospital, and Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice for their support and care of Philip, particularly during the ongoing pandemic conditions which prevented Philip's family from visiting him during his final days.
