He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Vanko and Mary Vanko; and his siblings, Beverly Ryan and Tamara Vanko. He is survived by: his sisters, Judith Reece and Susan Vanko. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Cleveland Wheelchair Tennis Foundation and was know as a billiards master.
