She was predeceased by: her husband John Zachar; her son John Zachar; and her sister Karen Juniper. She is survived by: her children, Richard Zachar (Kim Fairchild) and Julie Geschke (Rick); her grandchildren, John Rinicella (Ashley), Nichole Rinicella Leah Barnett (Kelsey), Amanda Herd (Matt), Alaine Zachar, Lee Zachar Lindsey, Melanie Recina (Dan), Brandi Zachar-Johnson (Brandon), Jennifer Cozad (Brain) and Bradley Zachar; and her siblings, George Mack (Pat), Judy Huffman, Tim Mack and John Mack.
