She was predeceased by: her husband Victor P. Cogar; her grandson Jacob R. Freed; her sisters, Francine Branham, Phyllis Detiege and Debbie Leopold; and her parents, Edward E. Ferguson and Esther V. Ferguson.
She is survived by: her children, Brandy Freed (Troy), Victor E. Cogar and Desiree Cogar (Donovan); her grandchildren, Lee Miller (Mayra), Brandon Freed (Riley), Issael Maldonado Jr. and Isla Malone; her great grandchildren, Kai Miller, Jaxon Freed, Jackson Clark and Jacob A Freed; and her siblings, Lynn Gomez, Wenda Leventry, Don Wise and Eddie Ferguson (Rita). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Baker-Osinski-Kensinger Funeral Home (206 Front St, Berea, OH 44017). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at the Woodvale Cemetery (7535 Engle Rd, Cleveland, OH 44130).
