She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard M. Smart and Olive Mentzinger Smart; her brother Richard Smart; her children, Craig MacPherson (Betsy), Gail Brown (Robert) and Cheryl Lavilla (Eddie); and her grandchildren, Heidi (Jason), Michael (Julianne), Lindsie (Morgan), Caitlin (Evan), Sara (Tristan) and Megan (Ethan). She was also cherished by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Humenik Funeral Chapel (14200 Snow Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Church (250 Kraft St, Berea, OH 44017). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142).
