He is survived by: his wife Rowena Virginia Ahart Bruner; his children, Tina Bruner of Parkersburg, Jay Bruner (Jeannine) of Little Rock, AR and Lori Richards (Johnny) of Belpre; his grandchildren, Emily Bruner, Corey Bruner (Sarah), Jerry Richards (Trinity), Kaitlin Richards (CJ), Christopher and Benjamin Barrera; his great grandchild Corbin Richards; and his brother William Bruner (Doris) of Brooks, KY..

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home (801 Victor St, Belpre, OH 45714).
