He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Prendergast; his children, Robert Eugene Prendergast Jr. (Michelle), Tammy Jo Prendergast, Tommie Lyn Recco (Tony) and Richard Michael Prendergast; his stepdaughter Wendy Rutan (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Christopher Russell (Mandy), Nicole Baker (Alex), Clayton Prendergast (Bernadette), Shayna Sasser (Anthony), Alyssa Prendergast, Beverly Prendergast, Kristen Prendergast and Felicia Ritz; his great grandchildren, Eden Russell, Evelyn Russell, Minnie Baker and Remington Baker; his nephew Matthew Prendergast; and his niece Shannon Bartlett.
