He was predeceased by: his parents, Orland "Butch" and Charlotte Ludwig (Gieger); and his brother John Ludwig. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Ludwig; his children, Robin Hollabaugh (Brian) of Salem, Kevin Ludwig (Kelly) of Beloit and Christopher Ludwig (Christy) of Beloit; his siblings, Becky Baddeley (Jim) of South Carolina, Jane Ludwig of Canton and Terry Ludwig of Canfield; his nephew Jason Ludwig (Allison); his grandchildren, Brennan Felgar (Taylor), Alexis Ludwig, Izabella Ludwig, Adalyn Ludwig, Luca Leone and Cruz Leone; and his father-in-law George Priselac.
The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to The Richard Ludwig Memorial Fund.
