He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Gatten and Dorotha Calvert Gatten; his son Robert L. Gatten; and his sister Evelyn McKeen. He is survived by: his wife Sally West Gatten of Belmont; his children, Lore Grob (Ken) of Belmont and Timothy Gatten (Melissa) of Canfield; and his grandchildren, Kaleb, Ava, Michael, Matthew, Nathan, Nicholas, John, Dylan and Addison.
