He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd W. Roby and Velma Roby (Reed). He is survived by: his wife Linda Roby (McEndree); his children, Glen Roby, Lisa Stewart (Tabitha), Christine McGinnis, Velma Roby (Jody Alderman) and Kimberly Noble (Lance); and his siblings, Lloyd Roby, Jr., Linda Grimes (Harry), Bonnie Higgins and Clyde Roby (Tanya). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
