It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul J. Helms of Belmont, Ohio, born in Stewartsville, Ohio, who passed away on July 28, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Helms and Mary Bennington Helms; his wife Hilda Marie Hess Helms; and his daughter-in-law Mary Helms. He is survived by: his children, Marie Heath of Bethesda, OH, Ronald Helms of Lansing, OH, Tammy Reynolds (Tim) of Titusville, FL, Wanda Hall of St. Clairsville, OH and Gary Helms (Kathy) of Belmont; his siblings, Dorothy DeLong of Adena and Larry Helms (Tine) of Stewartsville; his sister-in-law Clara Helms of Lansing; his close friend Gracie; and his pets, Murphy and Rudy. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
