He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Sayre, Sr. and Virginia E. Sayre. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne V. Sayre; his sons, James Sayre (Holly) of Zanesville, Jerry Sayre (Tracy) of Belmont and Jay Sayre (Kara) of New Albany; his grandchildren, Dylan Sayre (Amanda), Brian Sayre (Elise), Ashley Sayre (Zack Hill), Emily Sayre, Hannah Sayre and Nate Sayre; and his great grandchildren, Harper Sayre, Raegan Sayre and Hudson Sayre.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Schiffler Cancer Center, Medical Oncology Division, 40 Medical Park, Suite 300, Wheeling, WV, 26003.
