We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2024, at the age of 72, Elrita C. McAvoy of Belmont, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Elrita may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Hornick and Doris E. Hornick (Davis); her son James Nichols; and her brothers, Ricky and Larry Hornick.
She is survived by: her son Joey McAvoy; and her siblings, Diana Diprosperis (Ron), Bruce Hornick, Michael Hornick (Jenny) and Patricia Smith (Linda).
