She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin L. Shunk and Donna Marie Davis Shunk; her husband Wallace Eugene Pelkey; and her siblings, Donald Shunk and Penny Shunk.
She is survived by: her foster son Jonathan Murphy; and her siblings, Jerry Shunk (Robin), Suzie Roush (Dale) and Frances Kate Shunk (Larry). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
