He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest A. Blon and Pauline Tiber Blon; his wife Lenora B Blon (Heath); and his siblings, Delbert V. Blon, Fred A. Blon, Shirley Piatt, Linda Hashman and Judith F. Burghy.

He is survived by: his sister Darlene Hinkle of Bethesda, Ohio; his children, Sharon Blon Thomas of Myrtle Beach, SC and Mark E. Blon (Judy) of Holloway, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Jacques E. Lamarche, Zachary N. Blon and Jacqueline R. Lamarche.
