He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Barr and Evelyn Barr (Butler); and his siblings-in-law, Kay Barr, Jay and Marty Vail.
He is survived by: his friend Nancy Vail; his wife Nancy Barr of Bellville; his children, Sherri Brokaw (Jeannie) of Bellville, Tomas Roy, Jr. and Kerri Gottfried (Jeff) of Bellville; his grandchildren, Nikki Traxler (Donald), Josh Brokaw (Liz), Teddy Muntan, Thomas, III (Barr), Camery Pence (Blake), Darian Gottfried (Hailey Franklin) and Hallie Gottfried; his great grandchildren, Maddie, Wade Traxler, Brantley and Ryker Pence; his siblings, Raymond Barr (Sharon), Phil Barr (Sue), John Barr (Linda) and Luanne Dill (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Judi Gaskill (Bill), Dave Vail (Deb), Mike Vail and Brent Vail (Janie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Memorial donations in honor of Tom may be made to The Clear Fork Valley Athletic Hall of Fame or Taking Root Farms (which enables kids and adults with disabilities continued learning and life skill opportunities).
