He was predeceased by: his parents, George Griffith and Lola Griffith (Burgess); his daughter Marsha Adams; and his siblings, Phyllis Miller, Brenda Carpenter, Danny, Timmy, Stanton and Hank Griffith.
He is survived by: his friend John Garber; his wife Jenny Griffith (Butterbaugh); his son Doug Griffith; his siblings, Nancy Spencer (Roger), Kay Taylor (Allen), Mary Drake and John Griffith (Linda); his grandchildren, Amber Smith (Steven) and Alan Adams; his great grandchildren, Dillion Wheeler, Ashley Smith and Jayden Adams; his father-in-law Joe Butterbaugh; his sisters-in-law, Sara Reasor (Randy) and Patty Levingston (Chad); and his son-in-law Gregg Adams. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in his memory to be made to the Jefferson Township Fire Department.
