She was predeceased by: her parents, Albano Neves and Christina Neves (Costa); her former husband Raymond Spearin; her husband Joseph McDonald; her daughter Susan Spearin Platt; and her son-in-law George Platt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Collins (Leo) of Clayton, NC and Barbara Ackerman (Brian) of Butler, OH; her grandchildren, Stephanie Maguy (Andrew), Jodi Lee (Edward) and Brian Platt (Lisa); her great grandchildren, Madison Maguy, Brady Lee and Cassidy Lee; and her siblings, Mary Gracia and Edward Neves (Marilyn).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
