It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgette Jane Smith (Bellville, Ohio), who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack E Dewey and Helen L. Dewey (Detrow); her husband Michael G. Smith; her son Timothy Dewey Miller; and her brother Charles Dewey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jerrilyn J. Hayes (William) and Sherri L. Windbigler (James); her grandchildren, William P. Hayes Jr. (Sarah), Megan J. McFerren (Daniel) and Tiffany L. Windbigler (Tommy); her great grandchildren, Logan, Landon McFerren, Sadie and Cecelia Hayes; and her sister Jackie Bollinger.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to OhioHealth Hospice, in honor of Georgette and the family would also like to give a special thank you to the nurses and staff at OhioHealth Hospice for the special care they gave to Georgette.
