He was predeceased by: his parents, Hylas Mellott and Margaret Mellott (Huddle). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Fairchild; his children, Mike Mellott (Candie) of Lucas, Frank "J. R." Mellott of Mansfield, Mary Lamp (Rob) of Mansfield, Holly Austin (Robert) of Mansfield and Stephanie Mellott of Mansfield; and his siblings, Lee Mellott (Sharon), Dale Mellott (Sara), Mary DeLong (Paul) and Mark Mellott. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
In Frank's memory, memorial contributions may be mailed to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, Wounded Warrior Foundation, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
