He was predeceased by : his parents, Clint Flynn and Hattie Flynn (Tucker); and his sister Zelma Morrison. He is survived by : his wife Wanda Flynn; his children, Gary Flynn (Tamala Moore), Katie Byrd (Mel) and JC Flynn (Carla); and his sisters, Clara Young, Cloie Dick, Gertrude Daily and Pauline Dahlhofer. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Bellville Butler Chapel (81 Mill Rd, Bellville, OH 44813). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Bellville Cemetery (144 Church St, Bellville, OH 44813).
