He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold H. Mace and Esther Mace (Wood); his stepdaughter Vicki Gullett; and his siblings, Eugene "Babe" Mace and Joyce "Pat" Nyfenger.
He is survived by: his wife Ilene N. (Peters); his son William Jr. Mace (Debbie) of Streetsboro, Ohio; his stepson James Weiss (Kathy) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Colleen Sibayan (Jonathan) of Los Angeles, California, Adam Mace of Lake, Emily Mace of Streetsboro, Jason Weiss (Nickole), Kevin Weiss, Matthew Weiss, Shane Weiss, Paige Weiss and Chad Gullett; and his sisters, Sandra Tackett of Bellevue and Sue Hall of Bellevue. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
