He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Derr and Marian Derr (Scarberry); his wife Margaret Derr (Weirick); his brother Mark Derr; and his grandson Roan Mackay.
He is survived by: his children, Timmy Derr of Bellevue and Erica Derr of Bellevue; his grandchildren, Zane Rieger and Palmer George; and his sister Diane Bye (Albert) of Castalia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
