She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Mowry and Marian Mowry Jr. (Garvin); her brother Dennis Mowry; her sons, Jeremey and Jonathan K. Schaeffer; and her brother-in-law Thomas Long.
She is survived by: her husband William K. Schaeffer; her daughter Sarah Thomas (Rick) of Navarre, Ohio; her siblings, Debbie Long (Mowry) of Sandusky and Roger Mowry (Becky) of Sandusky; and her niece Amy Long. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
