He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Wagner and Lutie Wagner (Wilt); his wife Joanna Ley Wagner; his former wife Joyce Korndorfer Whitbeck Wagner; his siblings, Clara Thompson Cushman, Violet Duncan and Ralph F. Wagner; and his daughter-in-law Tamara Wagner.
He is survived by: his children, R. Mark Wagner (Wanda) of Tucson, Diane Hiratsuka (John) of Tucson, Richard Wagner of Bellevue and Gail Coe (Harry) of Clyde; his grandchildren, Megan Wagner of Tucson, Phillip Wagner (Jessica) of North Ridgeville, Andrew Wagner of Tucson, Tim Larsen (Bronwyn) of Tucson, Nicholas Hiratsuka of Tucson, Joshua Coe of Burke, Zachary Coe of Bellevue and Zackary Knauss of Bellevue; and his great grandchildren, Brooke Larsen of Tucson and Hadley Wagner of North Ridgeville.
