He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ommert and Norma Ommert (Erkman); his former wife Janice Ommert; his son-in-law Philip Smith; his siblings, William Ommert, Shirley Wilcox and Nancy Hills; and his sister-in-law Sue Ommert.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ommert (Mull) of Bellevue; his children, Kerry Phillips (Larry) of Wooster, Stacy Smith of Bellevue, Jodie Brown (Dana) of Bellevue, Jean Mull of Bellevue and Susan Mull of Tiffin; his brother Larry Ommert of Sandusky; and his sister-in-law Carol Ommert of Norwalk.
