With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Brooks (Bellevue, Ohio), who passed away on February 7, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Maines and Nelia Maines (Stuart); her husband Elery C. Brooks; her siblings, Cliff Maines, Robert Maines, Evelyn Smith (Maines), Dale Maines, Bill Maines, James Maines, Virginia Maines, Bradley Maines and Wava Belknap (Maines); and her granddaughters, Dawn Vargas (Brooks) and Danielle Tester (Brooks).
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Brooks, Susan Miller (Dennis) and Peggy Norton (Thomas); her grandchildren, Denise Greenawald, Eddie Brooks, Amy Williams, Adam Miller, Crystal Pruitt, Nancy Evans, Brooks Wott, Sarah Matter, Erin Dickey and Laura Matter; and her brother Charles Maines of Clyde. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
