It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Witter of Bellevue, Ohio, born in Perry, Ohio, who passed away on August 19, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Witter and Margarete May Witter (Murphy); his girlfriend Betty Jo Meador; his siblings, Paul Witter (Izzy), Marjorie Lundell (Don) of Norwalk, Rosie Martin (Bun) of Sandusky and Robert Witter of Sandusky; and his grandsons, Aaron Charles Greene and Douglas Steven Witter.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Greene (Brent Filipkowski) of Chillicothe and Steven Witter (Shirley) of Monroeville; his siblings, Shirley Toney (Jack) and Dorothy Foreman (William) of Shelby, OH; his half-siblings, Cletus Witter Jr., Rodger Witter and Darlene Kreiger (Witter); and his granddaughters, Melissa Greene (Nate Hammond) of Chillicothe, Brittany Semon (Jim) of Sandusky and Angie Horn (Kyle) of Bellevue. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
