He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Odell and Bernadine Amanda Odell (Parker); and his brother Milton Dean Patten. He is survived by: his close friend Rosie Moore of Bellevue; his children, Richard Patten of Clyde, Rodney Patten, Green Springs, Dawn Chestnutt of Green Springs, Joann Barkfett of Cleveland and Ryan Patten of Boston, MA; his stepchildren, Kimberly Domingus of Fremont, Tammy Black of Bellevue and Roger Scott Edwards of Kentucky; and his sister Leora Kirby of Bellevue. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren.
