He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred L. Reinhart and Anna Reinhart (Ruffing); his wife Barbara (Williams); his brothers, Robert, LeRoy and Eugene Reinhart; and his nephew Michael LeRoy Reinhart.

He is survived by: his children, Gerald Reinhart of Bellevue and Christina Nixon (James) of Bellevue; his granddaughters, Natalie Nixon and Elizabeth Nixon of Bellevue; and his brother Howard Reinhart of Tennessee.
