He is survived by: his wife Melissa Whaley (Leeson); his stepdaughters, Jessica Gaston, Cynthia Sturgill (Eric), Tabatha Gaston and Marya Gaston; his brother Keith Whaley (Robin); and his nephew Bradly Whaley (Sarah). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
