She was predeceased by: her husband Sheldon Smetzer; her parents, Lyle Ballard and Alberta Ballard (Hale); and her daughter Ericka Smetzer. She is survived by: her children, Nickole Leonard, Cynthia Kurt (John) and Adam Smetzer (Michelle Perez); her grandchildren, Troy (Kara), Samantha, Trent, Faythe, Kaine, Hannah, Hope and Owen; her great grandchild Adilyn; and her sisters, Mary Lauber (Dan) and Becky Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
