It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Beck Wagner of Bellevue, Ohio, born in Norwalk, Ohio, who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Meinen and Myrtle Meinen (Hockley); her former husband Roy D. Beck; her husband Clair J. "Popeye" Wagner; her daughter Linda Lou Kessler; her son-in-law Eugene Kessler; her daughter Virginia S. Beck; her siblings, Lydia Schnee and Earl Meinen; and her great grandchild Lilith Murray.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Beck (Peggy) of Bellevue and Jerry Beck (Sherry) of Bellevue; her stepdaughter Barbara Belden (David) of Smyrna, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Tonya Kessler of Norwalk, Wendy Plumley (Steve) of Bellevue, Alex Beck of Goldsboro, NC, Evan Beck (Stephanie) of Summerville, SC, Autum Ribitz (Chad) of Fremont, Alicia Murray (Derrick) of Bellevue and Grant Belden (Tania) of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials in Laura's honor may be made to Flat Rock Ebenezer United Methodist Church or Southern Care Hospice.
