He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Peters and Helen Peters (Coulson); and his siblings, Richard Peters, Donna Soucinek and Betty Taylor.
He is survived by: his close friend Mary Thomas of Bellevue; his son Joseph Nortman; his siblings, Ken Peters (Patricia) and Virginia Jones; and his sister-in-law Wanda Peters. He is also survived by 3 granddaughters, numerous nieces and nephews.
