He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Volk and Ernestine Volk (Metzger); his wife Jeannett; and his siblings, Dorothy and Frederick.
He is survived by: his son Michael Volk (Melanie) of Bellevue; his grandchildren, Chad Volk (Joe) of Raleigh, Zac Volk (Shelby) of Bellevue and Gretchen Volk (Brian Warner) of Sandusky; and his great grandchildren, River Volk, Opal Volk, Timber Volk, Daisy Volk, Estella Edwards, Silas Edwards, Ledon Warner and Zoey Warner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
