He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Pickering (Sardinha); his children, Jon Pickering (Rohnda) of Republic, Molly Rychener (Pickering) of Bellevue and Chris Ayers of Dallas, Texas.; his grandchildren, Zachariah Pickering of Columbus, Daniel Pickering of Chillicothe, Nathan Pickering of Republic, Rebecca Rychener of New Tazewell, Kaitlyn Rychener of Cleveland, Gabriella Ayers of Dallas and Wyatt Ayers (Katali) of Dallas; his brother John Pickering (Marisue) of Orono; his nephews, David Pickering of Orono and Paul Pickering of Nova Scotia; his brother-in-law Larry Sardinha (Bonnie); and his cousins, Jack McKay (Barb) of Missouri and Bill Bourgeois (Nancy) of Missouri. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
