James Cheek Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Cheek (Bellevue, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on February 1, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Cheek and Mamie Jean Cochran (Lester); his wife Sue Ella Roark; his siblings, Carl Cheek, Mildred Jurs and Ann Bolen; and his in-laws, Mary, Edna, Thoe, Russell, Rudy, Delores, Carson, Debbie and Tammy.
He is survived by: his children, Pam and Brian (Lesley Cheek); his grandchildren, Toni, Curt Featheringill, Amanda, Kegan O'Mara, Glen, Alice Young, Ashley Young and Ahren Young; his great grandchildren, Annabelle, Isabelle, Thomas Featheringill, Andromeda, Korbin O'Mara, Quynn Phillips and Henry Young; his sisters, Jan Lester and Marsha Waterfeild; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Love and John Bickford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Foos & Foos Funeral Service (151 Yorkshire Pl, Bellevue, OH 44811). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the York Cemetery.
