He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dendinger and Frances Dendinger (Daniel); his grandson Trevor Dendinger; and his brother Sylvester "Jake" Dendinger. He is survived by: his wife Inez (Fuchs); his children, Michael Dendinger (Lisa) of Bellevue, James Dendinger (Cindy) of Bellevue, Steven Dendinger (Rhonda) of Bellevue and Sharon Poore (Don Jr.) of Fremont; his grandchildren, Nicole Jones (Zach), Dana Boyeas (Jimmy), Brad Dendinger (Emily), Ryan Dendinger (Dana), Samantha Dendinger, Geoff Dendinger (Danielle), Kelcey Dendinger, Sarah Poore and Kari Poore; his great grandchildren, Nolan, Ethan, Ellaina, Everly, Griffin, Madilyn, Abigal, Logan, Aiden, Leo, Nash, Rhett and Jed; and his sister Annamarie Meyer of Bellevue.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Gaspar del Bufalo, Sorrowful Mother Shrine, or Stein Hospice.

“Our sincere condolences to Inez, Mike, Jim, Steve Shari, and their families. Eugene and I first met in the 1st grade at St Michael's in Franks, Ohio, and our friendship continued thru to our adult life. We always enjoyed Gene and Inez whenever they made trips to Colorado as well as a few trips we took together. Wonderful memories! Eugene was a true "Gentleman," never met a stranger, and saw the best in everyone. We will miss him. Heaven gained a new Angel! Joseph and Patricia (Shaver) Darr”
